God Loves You

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 2 Peter 3:9

Have you ever thought about God loving you with all your faults and failures? Maybe you woke up this morning after a long night of soul-searching wondering if anyone cares about you. The truth is that while we often think that no one loves us, God has never stopped loving His creation despite our sinfulness. We are indeed sinners if we disobey His will. Some may call this behaviour mistakes or human errors, but the simple fact is that we have failed God, and we must repent and seek His forgiveness.

The weakness about mankind is that we have all at one or another said to someone “I Love you” and that person in response may say “I love you too.” With this declaration you both agreed and continue in a relationship, only to discover later that neither the two could keep the standards required. The result is separation of some kind. That relationship may never return, even if it does, there will be suspicions. God is different, when we come to Him, He does not refer to our sins. Instead, He receives us with open arms as the prodigal returning home. God’s love towards us is sincere, and we can always trust Him. Will you try Him today and accept His invitation to love you unconditionally? Click link below for information. Shekinah Theological College
