SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP
I Timothy 4: 1-4; Titus 2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The true spiritual leader is Christ-like, which means he is caring and considerate to those whom he serves. He must continue building the Kingdom of God with the principles of the Apostles, so that the gospel reaches everyone before the Lord puts in His appearance. Evidently, this is a global responsibility which every leader must be conscious of when assuming his position. It is also very essential to the ministry that the individual was called by God and is prepared to lead.
However, there are certain people who are specifically called into certain areas of ministry. We read of the many gifts for the church, which means there are all kinds of offices for leadership; each with its own anointing and expertise (I Corinthians 12). Therefore, every leader must be sure that he is in his rightful place where God has called him.
Colossians 4:17a Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. —- Every minister should pay special attention to these words. Spiritual leadership is unlike what the world desires.
