Forever, thy Word is settled in Heaven Psalm 119:89

God’s promises have no expiration date.

Every promise of God is guaranteed to be fulfilled.

No matter what!

Wherever we turn in the Scriptures, we will not find any report which shows that God has ever failed anyone after making a promise. God’s Word is sure and He cannot change them once they have gone forth out of His mouth.

God’s Character Isaiah 55:8-11 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. We cannot compare God with mankind who fail even when they did not plan to fail. We are finite and can only attest to a minute fraction of success. God has all power and if He has made a promise to you, trust Him to work a miracle on your behalf. God will only work where He sees faith. If you do not have a need, you do not need a miracle. If you believe you can do without God, then do not criticize His ways.

Keep in mind that there is but one God Who is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. There is nothing that He cannot do and He is concerned for His creation: mankind.

All God asks of us is to trust Him,

serve Him and obey His Commandments.

God’s Word Can be Trusted

Whatever God says, we can always accept that word to be true and that He will keep them. When God speaks, He will never change His Word. His promises are true and faithful to all those who will trust in Him and take Him at His Word. Whatever the promise God has made to you, will come to pass according to His Word which has been tried throughout the ages and found to be true and faithful.

Psalm 12:6-7 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

When God speaks, whatever He says must be accomplished according to His desire: Isaiah 55:8-11.

Hebrews 6:16-19 God is not capricious. His Word is an Anchor which is steadfast, sure, and secure. For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife. Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil;

God Does not Change

Mankind has the tendency to change similar to the climate. Not so with God! He keeps His Word, and we can trust Him even when we do not understand His ways or how things will turn out for us. We can take God’s Word as an anchor which remains steadfast to do whatever He says.

God’s thoughts and intentions are perfect (Psalm 19:7-8). This means that when the Word leaves God’s mouth, He will not go back and change it (Numbers 23:19).

God can be trusted to keep His Word!
