To believers, prayer is a divine appointment with God Who is always present and waiting for us. Prayer is one of the ways in which we communicate with God for worship, meeting of needs, for healing and so many other reasons.
Still, although we have this great opportunity to meet with God, yet we often go into His presence irreverently, with no respect for His holiness. There are also times when our prayers are only about wants, needs, favours and others.
Prayer means more than just about “us.” Prayer time is special and requires purpose, plan and strategy. We must be properly prepared to precede with praise and worship (Psalm 117) even before we make our requests (Philippians 4:6).
We must pray in faith with expectancy (I John 5:14-15). Although we know that our prayer has been heard, we must wait patiently, and hope that in God’s own time our desires will be granted.
Do not prayer without giving thanks.
Listen to hear what God has to say and be diligent to carry out any instructions from the Lord. Listen to the program on Prayer and may you be blessed.
