Praise the Lord! Jesus is Alive!

There is Hope!

Luke 24:1-9 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words, And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

Can we all say that Christ has risen in our hearts on this special day which changed the entire world? Even today as you are reading this passage people are still accepting Jesus Christ into their hearts. Have you asked Him to come into your heart?

Indeed, resurrection day is extremely precious and important to the entire world. Whether there is awareness or not; it makes no difference. Jesus is alive for evermore! Amen!

We will never be able to understand what went through the disciples minds when they heard that Jesus had risen from the dead. They may have felt that His talk about being risen from the dead on the third day was somewhat incredible.

Nevertheless, when they heard that He was seen after His death, only one disciple wanted to see Him with his own eyes and to touch the nail print in His hands before he would believe.

John 20:24-29 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

As you read the passage above, what do you think? What goes through your mind when you look at your life? Do you know Jesus? Do you believe in the resurrection? Do you believe that He really died, was buried, and rose on the third day? What do you believe? If you do not believe, what will it take to convince you that Jesus Christ is real, and that He lived, suffered, died, was buried, and rose from the dead, returned to His Father in heaven and is coming back for the church, His people?

When we die, this is not the end. Christ’s resurrection is proof that death is not the end of life. For this reason, we must preach the resurrection to remind people that Jesus Christ is real, and that He is alive. (I Corinthians 15:13) But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

Clearly, if you do not believe in the resurrection, then your faith is in vain, and you have no hope. (I Corinthians 15:17, 20) And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.

Praise God, He arose from the dead. Christ arose. Hallelujah! There is hope no matter what you are facing at this present time. The world is in chaos; but this will pass and something else will come. Nevertheless, this world is not the end. Let us prepare for the coming of the Lord and be not afraid.

If you hear His voice calling you today, do not harden your heart. This is the day of salvation. Accept Jesus Christ into your heart and receive eternal life. God is loving and forgiving and He will never turn you away.

Jesus is risen!

Is He alive in your heart today?
