God will Never turn you away when you call upon Him

Psalm 34:4, 6 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

There are times when we pray and it seems as if God is no where to be found. We may even think that even though He is everywhere, He is not listening to us.

During the course of our lives we will face all kinds of turmoils, trials, disappointments, failures, setbacks, delays, and just about any and everything will happen to us. Do we have power over any of those occurrences? Maybe in some cases we could have done better, but there are situations over which we have no influence. They happen and we could not have done anything to avoid their intrusions.

David was in a very critical situation because Saul was chasing him and his cover was about to be blown. His life was not only threatened by by his pursuer, but by the very ones to whom he fled for refuge.

David cried out to God and He heard him. What is your situation? Is it as dire as what David faced? Have you found yourself at a place where there is no turning back, but there is also no place to go? If you remain in that place of uncertainty you will give way to satanic forces of doubt, unbelief, restlessness, hopelessness, and depression.

Be proactive and cry out to God. Look away from your impossibilities to God’s unfailing possibilities. God cannot and will not fail! Call out to Him and see what He will do. As He did for David and countless others after him, He will do the same for you. Do not sink into the morass of despondency, and emotional blackmail which the enemy will present to you. He will bring all kinds of arguments.

Pay Attention to your thoughts

(Philippians 4:8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

What ideas are coming to your mind about the situation, yourself, your past, future, mistakes or even God? Are those concepts workable, true, trustworthy, or of any positive significance? The rest of your life depends on what you do in this present situation which you are in. You must take the initiative and help yourself by calling upon God for His help. Allow God to guide your path. He cannot fail, and will not fail despite the appearance of your situation.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

This passage presents to everyone facing difficulties to put faith and trust in God. God remains the same: merciful, kind, compassionate and forgiving. Never doubt His mercies, they are new every morning.

Are you ready for a change? Cry out to God. He is listening! What are you waiting for? David was in dire need. His life was in danger and he was a fugitive facing death at any time; but he cried out to God in his distress and He heard him. God will hear you too. He is waiting for your call. Do it now!
