Blindness of Heart and Mind affect the Eyes and Ears
II Corinthians 4:4
“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
When people’s heart become blinded, this affects the eyes and ears. The heart in this context is the inanimate spiritual organ from which all manner of both good and evil proceeds.
“For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man:” (Matthew 15:18-19b).
The blinded heart is hardened and becomes the seat of satanic activities which the individual has no power to control unless that person knows the Lord Jesus Christ and is serving Him with a true heart.
Solomon advises us to guard our hearts because out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).
You guard your heart by asking Jesus Christ to come in and reign in you. Of yourself, you cannot do this; but with God you can do all things.
Why not give your heart to Jesus today? Ask Him to cleanse you from your sins and to come into your heart and reside.
You do not have to live with a hard blind heart. Give God a chance! Have a blessed day.
