God is still on the throne. He still rules!

II Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

My grace is sufficient for you. Even in the times of uncertainty, God still displays His love and concern for His people. The fact that we are going through the valley, is not an indication that God has forsaken His people.

Maybe you are telling yourself that you cannot take your circumstances another day, another minute, another moment. You may be questioning “Why me?” Let us not forget that the whole duty of man is to serve God and keep His Commandments. You will overcome these circumstances because you are not alone in this fight. God is still with us in the time of trouble.

(Ecclesiastes 12:13 – Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man).

Furthermore, the Word clearly states in Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Despite this message, mankind has turned the back on God. Man’s agenda no longer includes the Creator. Even in the church, we can see the spread and control of apostasy. Yet God’s grace still avails to those who will seek after Him. Those who are true believers know the season we are facing at this time. While many seem to be unaware of our God in the world, there are still Christians who purpose to serve God by His sustaining grace regardless of what is going on around them.

We have seen the reckless and insensitive shedding of innocent blood, and the spread of all manner of immoralities and abominations, even in the church. It is time for repentance and seeking God’s face.

God’s grace is sufficient; but we must seek after Him and obey His Commandments. If we are serving Him, this must be sincere. Living a shady life with God will only place the insincere individual in fear and unease when disasters like these occur. Those who are walking the narrow road, already know that these things will come (II Timothy 3). Instead of being afraid, those persons will rest on the sure Word of God, which says: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).

If you have been living a crooked life with God, or your “brand” of Christianity, it is time to repent and seek His face. Everyone will give account of the work done in this life and the way life was lived here on earth.

Why not open your heart to Christ and determine to live for Him in Spirit and in truth. Begin to change today. You have the opportunity to repent. If you are serving the Lord, be sincere so that when these calamities occur, you will not be afraid. Instead, you will know that prophecy is being fulfilled. You will be safe knowing that God is with you, and you can shelter under His wings (Psalm 91).

Here is an opportunity to draw near to the Lord and learn more about Him. Get yourself a King James Bible and begin to read about God’s love to mankind (John 3); His marvellous sufficient grace towards us (II Corinthians 12). God loves us, and He is very forgiving when we seek Him.
