An Offering for Sin

The Sacrificial Lamb

Jesus gave His life a ransom for sinners. Although the Father knew of the terrible death His Son would experience, yet He was willing to offer Him up for us. Jesus Himself readily gave up His life and died on Calvary’s Cross for mankind.

Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

If you have never given your heart to the Lord, or if you have failed in your Christian walk with Him, the invitation still stands for anyone who will accept Him.

Romans 10:8-10, 13 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
