Finding the Secret Place of The Most High God
Psalm 91:1-4ff
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth [shall] be thy shield and buckler…….
We are living in a time of intense demonic activities. They are everywhere and they infiltrate every aspect of society. Seemingly, they know their time is short, and for this reason, they are using up every available time, resources, and people. They should not be encouraged because they are deceptive. In order to achieve their endeavours, they take on human visage and use their bodies to carry out their work. [Scroll down for the podcast]
Ephesians 6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places.]
Those who are used by demons are godless, immoral, unethical, and behave in unnatural ways. They are bold, and do not even make any attempt to hide their plans. They do not acknowledge laws whether those happen to be of God or of the land. They frown against laws and have no regard for the upright. Nothing hinders them, and they are not afraid of consequences. Their evil devilish behaviours create a system of fear which can be felt. This fear is also accompanied by hatred for those who oppose them.
Over the years this hatred has become institutionalized so that they have incorporated more people who are guilty of this evil against those who obey the Commandments and follow the law. The helpless become a prey, and the righteous is a target whom they seek to torment ceaselessly without provocation. They shun the light, and mock those who uphold morality, godliness, and truth. Justice is alien to them while truth is a certified enemy [Isaiah 59].
For these reasons, the saints of God must find the secret place in God to secure refuge for His protection. Our God has provided for His people everything which He knew we would need while here on earth as we await the return of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ [II Peter 1:3].
The secret place of the Most High God is the most secure place to be found on earth. The wicked cannot enter nor those who live abominable lives and work deceit. They cannot even come close.
Psalm 91:7-8 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Psalm 27:1-3 “The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this [will] I be confident.”
Finding the Secret Place of the Most High God
To find the secret place, you must give your heart to Jesus Christ and ask Him to come in. Turn from your sins today, and receive the Son of God Who gave His life for you on Calvary.
Nothing is or will get better. Let Jesus lead you into the paths of righteousness to the secret place of refuge and protection not only for this life; but you will spend eternity with the Lord and His saints. When you dwell in the secret place there is no need to fear what the demon-empowered people do because you will be secure in God’s protective power [Psalm 121].
It is in the secret place where you will find peace and contentment, no matter what is going on around you [Isaiah 26:3]. Goodness and mercy will be with you as your constant companions. Even though demons are constantly in the vicinity, you will fear no evil because the Great Shepherd walks with you; even in the valley of the shadow of death, He will be there with you (Psalm 23). God’s grace will support you when you are going through temptations and trials (II Corinthians 12:7-10).
The best place to be is in the Secret Place of the Most High God. Will you turn to Him today?
