God has called us unto holiness which is a binding voluntary action. When we are obedient to Him, He blesses us; but this requires being holy. Our acceptance of Jesus Christ is a covenant relationship with God with also (Psalm 81). As we obey Him, we see His mighty hand at work on our behalf.
Holiness means separation from the world so that we can please God (Leviticus 20:26). Unholiness deprives us of God's blessings.
