The Pastoral Ministry

The office of the pastor is an awesome responsibility which requires diligence, integrity, and faithfulness. The person who is called and appointed by God in this position must be dedicated and one who is well-disciplined to teach, correct, and exercise discipline both for himself and the members whom he leads.

No one can make an individual a pastor. This is a specific gift with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. To do otherwise, would be a spiritual violation.

The pastoral ministry is identified as one of the gifts given by Jesus Christ. " And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;" (Ephesians 4:11). If you were not called to be a pastor, do not take up this responsibility.

The qualifications for a pastor, as with all other offices in the Christian church are listed in I Timothy 3:1-11

Have you been called to reach the world for Christ? Delay no longer!

Souls are dying everyday not knowing Jesus Christ.

They die in sin not knowing that they could have been forgiven.

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Isaiah 6:8

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Obey the voice of God today to reach the world for Christ.

You may not have this opportunity again.
